Raised beds are extremely useful and attractive features to any garden landscape. They raise plants to eye level for more interest, and can follow the rise of steps or ramps and help reduce the impact of level changes. Raised beds also make gardening much easier for those with disabilities or the elderly. They reduce the need for reaching and bending. They can be filled with different soils to accommodate differing species of plants which perhaps would not grow elsewhere in your own garden soil.
