Our lovely client, Mark asked for a Cedar wood garden decked area at the rear of his property – quite a large garden in Darlington, Cleveland, Teesside. We discussed exactly what style and design of garden decking he was looking for. Mark explained that he was keen to have a very different type of decking. He wanted an up market feel to his garden decking area.
Mark requested a deluxe Cedar wood garden decking area. He wanted a retreat where he could sit and enjoy a good book on his days off. We presented Mark with various options and choices of upmarket, quality decking materials. Green Onion Landscaping constructed this Cedar wood garden decking frame using pressure treated deck joists. These were screwed in to place using treated posts and concrete. The decking frame was fixed with a slight fall away from the house.
Although Cedar wood garden decking boards are a little more expensive than more common decking woods, they do look, feel and smell far superior to any other decking materials. There is the most amazing aroma from Cedarwood. It’s a rich and woody smell that induces relaxation and comfort.
